Last Man Standing

S-what-im-takin-bout! Asher Roth is dope, I don't care what most people say or if you don't agree. Loved the first album and can't wait for the new one. Sick first release and dope comic book style video. So pumped for "Is This Too Orange?" (new album)

There is no official release date but it says in 2011, which as we know is coming to an end, so hopefully it will be officially announced soon!!

"I'm a red pill taker, whose my real maker." Love the matrix reference! Nerd at heart, dope on paper.

Common Interests

These are my boys. Wes and Kris have been messing around in the beat laboratory for a while and they are really starting to pump out some sick tracks. Based out of my hometown, they both go to CU, famous for it's mountains, being the number 1 party school in the nation, and it's physics department. I'm serious about the physics department, they have several nobel prize winning physicists. Anyways Wes and Kris, Common Interests, are pumping out some sick tracks, great songs for chilling alone or bumping at a rager. Check them out, Download them, pass them along!!

Pumped Up Slide

Mind blowing, absolutely mind blowing. This guy is so smooth at dancing, and yes I did see this on FNT but its still worthy of passing on!

Foster the People - Pumped up Kicks (Butch Clancy Remix)

Sick remix to a sick song as well.

Strange Clouds

Strange Clouds, very strange clouds. B.o.B and Lil Wayne?! YUP. Got a little bit of a dubstep wobble to it. Im digging this song! SO SO DOPE!

MUST DOWNLOAD

I know I said recently that B.o.B was getting big for his britches, a little followup on that (previous post) B.o.B. didn't know that the bill hadn't been paid, soon after he found out his manager sent the money for the tab. But this song is a sick sick preview to the upcoming album!

Visuals For Days!

This is probably one of the most interesting videos I have ever seen. Weird twist between 10 year old french children and anime. Reminds me of Call Of Duty MW2 when you are running through the neighborhoods lighting it up with a helicopter, sick! I thought it was so incredible I wanted to see what Trevor had to say.

"This is a pretty rad song with an awesomely badass video to match. It looks like a prequel to the movie The Expendables." - Trevor of Trevor Tuesdays

Hope you enjoy!

Is Tropical - The Greeks

In case you haven't seen this, also a very dope video, really really incredible visuals, takes a little for it to get started but pretty cool when it does.

The Next Installment

Agasthya has done it again, pumping out tracks like a boss! Song is pretty fresh I think, sorry Agasthya, but the first transition is a little rough when it switches to Adele, but I really like the back beat on her vocals and the intro. Overall I dig it. Download it, Bump it, and Support your Local Artists!!!

Bastard On Bars

I used to really like B.o.B. but now I think he is starting to think he's a little big for his britches. Recently, as in Saturday, up at Cornell at the Level B Bar B.o.B. and his management refused to pay a $1000+ bill saying that they usually get paid to come to a bars and clubs and they were doing the Level B a favor. As you could imagine the Level B didn't agree. Also he has been taking shots at people he probably shouldn't, like Tyler The Creator, in March he released a song called No Future going after Tyler and the Odd Future group (OFWGKTA).

No Future - B.o.B

To B.o.B. all I have to say is count the Awards. Tyler : 1, B.o.B : 0

Yonkers - Tyler The Creator

"(What you think of Hayley Williams?) Fuck her, Wolf Haley robbing 'em
I'll crash that fucking airplane that that faggot nigga B.o.B is in"

Good luck B.o.B but I think you might lose this one in the long run.

Trevor ('s Beatboxing) Tuesday

A friend of mine sent me a video of this dude from the UK that beatboxes named Shlomo and I was immediately hooked. Here's some of the best of Shlomo's performances kiddos.

This is a video of Shlomo and his Vocal Orchestra doing a sweet cover of the song Teardrop by Massive Attack. I highly recommend checking out the original version of this song as well.

Shlomo's cover of Out of Space by Prodigy.

Finally, here is a video of Shlomo using his Vocal Orchestra as a human looping machine. The sitar he does at the beginning is unreal.

I also just picked up a ticket for Deadmau5 in October, I'm so freaking excited. Tiesto was incredible, but I have a feeling Deadmau5 will take it to a whole new level.

Tiesto Tonight

Not gonna lie, even with all the music I like and am familiar with, Tiesto isn't one of them. Never been one of my favorites and even though I've listened to him I just never really caught on but tonight should be epic. There is something to be said for longevity and general ability to move a crowd. Tiesto is definitely one of the titans of the trance/techno/dance movement and tonight should be memorable.

Im most excited for the lights, I like lights.

Forever In My Top 10

These are, in my opinion, some of the greatest songs ever. I could've easily posted multiple songs under the same artists, but instead of a post being just about Kanye West, I decided only one from each.

Tearz - Wu Tang Clan

How can you not respect Wu Tang.

Prayer Of The Refugee - Rise Against

The chorus gets me every time, "Don't hold me up now, I can stand my own ground!"

Cleaning Out My Closet - Eminem

First time I heard this im pretty sure my jaw went to China and I listened to it over and over.

Dance With The Devil - Immortal Technique

This song has always been intense, one of the most memorable moments in my life was when I saw him perform it live and then breakdown and just talk to the crowd as a person, just a normal human like everyone else.

The Cool - Lupe Fiasco

One of the most poetic songs ever, the images that come out of his words are incomparable.

Simple Man - Shinedown

Nothing to say, how can you. The only thing that can be said is that this is the greatest most powerful song ever.

Swim Good - Frank Ocean

Very new song, but instant classic

When The Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin

Very old song, but still a classic

Wheeles - Foo Fighters

For some reason this song just resonates with me, can't really say why.

Hey Mama - Kanye West

And summing it up with the greatest song ever, by the greatest artist ever. I know people will contest me but Kanye has always been my favorite and will always be my favorite, ask anyone who knows me and they know that I love Kanye.

Legion of Extraordinary Dancers

So, Step Up 2 was the best thing to happen ever. I absolutely love watching the final dance scene, epic, plus its a sick remix to a great bunch of songs,

Following along with the dancing theme, this is a show that's in it's third season. Every episode is on hulu, and it's on fire! Dancing is something I wish I could do better and this show makes me jealous. My friend described it as Heroes with twist, and that twist is incredible incredible dancing. This particular episode is introducing the Robot character, dope. Hands down the dopest dope I've ever smoked, (get it, get it, Pineapple Express reference!)

Anyways, presenting LXD (Legion of Extraordinary Dancers)

Frank OFWGKTA Ocean

I don't tend to like R&B. Usher, Chris Brown, R Kelly, just don't feel it. But then I listened to Frank Ocean. I've posted about him several times already but I decided another time wouldn't hurt.

Songs to listen to:

Sorry 4 The Wait

So its been a while since I posted, I apologize, lack of internet and back to school errands have been consuming my time. But finally my room is organized, the bed has arrived, the decorations are up, and unfortunately im ready for school to get underway. Here are a couple of my favorites from back home.

Filmed in my home state of Colorado, first sequence is at the Fillmore in Denver and the second half is up at Red Rocks Amphitheater, hands down one of the best concert venues in the world. Check minute 3.35, nuts absolutely nuts!

Trevor Tuesdays Post Dub

Last week I did a post about dubstep, but I've recently discovered a new genre thats been turning some heads as of late. Post Dubstep is a relatively new genre that serves as a new approach to the dubstep genre. Check out some of the artists that have been pioneering this new sound.

Andreya Triana - A Town Called Obsolete (Mala Remix)

Greenwood Sharps - Brothers

Jacques Greene - The Look (Koreless Remix)

Kastle - Could U Want Me
