Skrillex / Grammys / Song

Skrillex walked away with three Grammys last night and had some very interesting things to say.


He also dropped a new song, click that download button, song is really quite good and its original vocals by Skrillex (Sonny Moore)


and Deadmau5 played a prank on him, which he tried to turn back on Deadmau5. In case you didn't know, that's Skrillex's number and they tweeted back and forth joking about it. Skrillex then tried to reroute the phone calls to deadmau5. Jokes for days.

We all thought it was over until Christwire.org decided to come in hot! They are claiming that it is Skrillex's satanic lesbianoic tendencies that won him the grammys. Classic. According to them his name in latin means "Homosexual Satan Wasp." They also claim that Skrillex invented dubstep (Which in case you didn't know, he has never categorized himself as dubstep) and define dubstep as "a music genre founded on consuming massive amounts of drugs and having raucous pre-marital sex with numerous partners." This is so epic on so many levels I can't even handle it.

The article then claimes "Over 100% of homosexual gays listen to, or have listened to Skrillex in their life — mostly while participating in door-to-door recruitment for sex orgies or attempting to molest children in one of the patented “Rape Vans” used by the gay homo community." OVER 100%!!!! Wow, that's impressive. Not to mention the stunning conclusion of that statement.

2012, 355 days to Live

Best part of NYE was the wasted guy in full Boston Red Sox atire on the Red Line. As the doors opened at Downtown Crossing he stumbled out yelling incoherently "Happy New Year Everyone" and it almost everyone on the T responded with a cheer. Guy was obviously a boss. And now I say to you, Happy New Year, lets rock in 2012, its our last year anyway.

Anyways, back to the music. Been busy this week making connections, doing art, and working on the website. Be prepared for H.A.N.D. Clothing to make huge leaps and bounds.

I will Take Over Control so all you kids in the Pumped Up Kicks better run to Paradise while I bring this to a new Level of Voltage. There might be some Bromance, Wayfaring Strangers, Ghost and stuff along the way, and I'm Not Leaving until I Break A Sweat. Now it's the First Of The Year and I'm about to go Maximal Crazy. (In case you can't tell, thats pretty much a list of the songs I really liked this year, and if I was Dj at a party, I would fall back on some, if not most of these.) Oh and two more, Otis and Makra. Skrillex, I know I know, I like him too much but still. The new EP dropped, Bangarang. There are a couple new songs on it and its pretty good. Not some of his best stuff but he has been amazingly busy. Been on a crazy tour schedule and was able to manage a record label in the process. The fact that he has been nominated for 5 Grammys is a testament to his capabilities as a DJ.

I Have An Obsession With Skrillex

Seriously though, I like a lot of "dubstep" artists, but I just seem to never get enough of Skrillex. I'm really excited for him to release his album, which was supposed to come out a while ago but when some wanker took his laptops and harddrives from his hotel room in Milan it got set back a little, actually to be honest it got set back a lot. There are constantly new songs coming out by him, or remixes of old songs, sick.

From First To Last x Sonny Moore x Skrillex

For those that don't know, and I'm pretty sure a lot of people dont actually know this, Skrillex didn't just pop up out of nowhere on one of Deadmau5' tours. He used to be the lead singer of one of my favorite bands in High School, From First To Last. He left FFTL with vocal problems so he started doing less screaming and more just natural singing but started tossing some experimental beats in there, this was under his actual name, Sonny Moore.
