Crap, Cocaine, and Demonic Cats

Next installment from OddFuture is on its way. Hodgy Beats and fellow OFWGKTA member Left Brain team up for and single off the up-n-coming mixtape ROCK/SLAB from Hodgy Beats.

Crap - Hodgy Beats ft Left Brain

The Internet (Syd tha Kyd, Matt Martin), part of OddFuture released a track and video earlier this week. Pretty trippy video and I'm digging the female vocals with the light rap coming in half way though. Hope you like it

Cocaine - The Internet

Bastard On Bars

I used to really like B.o.B. but now I think he is starting to think he's a little big for his britches. Recently, as in Saturday, up at Cornell at the Level B Bar B.o.B. and his management refused to pay a $1000+ bill saying that they usually get paid to come to a bars and clubs and they were doing the Level B a favor. As you could imagine the Level B didn't agree. Also he has been taking shots at people he probably shouldn't, like Tyler The Creator, in March he released a song called No Future going after Tyler and the Odd Future group (OFWGKTA).

No Future - B.o.B

To B.o.B. all I have to say is count the Awards. Tyler : 1, B.o.B : 0

Yonkers - Tyler The Creator

"(What you think of Hayley Williams?) Fuck her, Wolf Haley robbing 'em
I'll crash that fucking airplane that that faggot nigga B.o.B is in"

Good luck B.o.B but I think you might lose this one in the long run.

Forever In My Top 10

These are, in my opinion, some of the greatest songs ever. I could've easily posted multiple songs under the same artists, but instead of a post being just about Kanye West, I decided only one from each.

Tearz - Wu Tang Clan

How can you not respect Wu Tang.

Prayer Of The Refugee - Rise Against

The chorus gets me every time, "Don't hold me up now, I can stand my own ground!"

Cleaning Out My Closet - Eminem

First time I heard this im pretty sure my jaw went to China and I listened to it over and over.

Dance With The Devil - Immortal Technique

This song has always been intense, one of the most memorable moments in my life was when I saw him perform it live and then breakdown and just talk to the crowd as a person, just a normal human like everyone else.

The Cool - Lupe Fiasco

One of the most poetic songs ever, the images that come out of his words are incomparable.

Simple Man - Shinedown

Nothing to say, how can you. The only thing that can be said is that this is the greatest most powerful song ever.

Swim Good - Frank Ocean

Very new song, but instant classic

When The Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin

Very old song, but still a classic

Wheeles - Foo Fighters

For some reason this song just resonates with me, can't really say why.

Hey Mama - Kanye West

And summing it up with the greatest song ever, by the greatest artist ever. I know people will contest me but Kanye has always been my favorite and will always be my favorite, ask anyone who knows me and they know that I love Kanye.

Frank OFWGKTA Ocean

I don't tend to like R&B. Usher, Chris Brown, R Kelly, just don't feel it. But then I listened to Frank Ocean. I've posted about him several times already but I decided another time wouldn't hurt.

Songs to listen to:
Flight / Go up
Focus
Lost Angel
Scared Of Beautiful (Fire)
Taste

OFWGKTA

Be sure to download the mixtape above, and don't forget to join the HAND Facebook page! link on the side!

Tyler The Creator Under Fire

WARNING CONTINUOS EXPLICIT WORDS, whole post

Tyler the Creator, in the media's eyes, is now the black version of Eminem.

So, GLAAD (The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation), an LGBT group, has decided to speak out against Tyler The Creator for his word chices. They claim he says the word, or a variation of the word, Faggot 213 times, or at least it is said by someone over the course of his most recent album "Goblin." Lets see how the word is actually used why dont we and the word count.

After listening to and reading the lyrics to Goblin, this is my count (mind you these are approximate number but they are pretty close):

Fag or Faggot - 13 (breakdown below)
Himself - 3
Religious Right Wing - 1
Hating On people who've hated on him - 5
His Dad - 1
Actually against LGBT community - 3

Other Words:
Gay - 1
Homo - 0
Cunt - 2
Pussy - 7

Finally The Grand Finale
Bitch - aprox. 159

I didn't count Fuck or N**** but I imagine they're high.

For a total of around 182, I dont know what other words they were counting.

“I’m not homophobic. I just think ‘fa**ot’ hits and hurts people. It hits. And ‘gay’ just means you’re stupid. I don’t know, we don’t think about it, we’re just kids. We don’t think about that sh*t.” - Tyler The Creator

Like he said Faggot hits people. GLAAD is using Faggot to get people interested, as marketing, so people will read about the article, they are twisting facts to support their own agenda. Don't get me wrong, I fully support the LGBT community, but when an organization, any organization, twists something to benefit themselves its up to other people to actually display the facts. They might not be specifically using it themselves, but other people and bloggers are taking and running with it. If there is really a "problem" word on this album it's Bitch and other misogynistic themes, but since when did the Bitch become a synonym for Faggot? I agree that he could lay off saying so many cuss words but when you are going to go after someone say why, don't say he is homophobic, or imply it. Check your facts.
